You Can Support Abandoned Pets or Stray Animals today
As a non-profit organization, we believe that even small acts of support can make a significant impact on the lives of animals in need. Your contribution helps provide essentials like food, shelter, medical care, and love to animals who have been neglected or left to fend for themselves on the streets.
We help stray dogs and cats get much needed sterilisation surgery to control their population.
We rescue hundreds of stray dogs or cats who are sick or have met with accidents.
We help reunite lost pet dogs and cats with their families through our social media presence.
At Sinhgad Animal Welfare Charitable Trust (SAW), our primary focus is on conducting Animal Birth Control (ABC) drives across Pune, successfully sterilizing over 4,000 dogs with the support of Canine Control and Care Trust and Blue Cross Society of Pune Trust . Our dedicated volunteers play a crucial role in these efforts, alongside our partners Animal Rescue Trust, Rescue Charitable Trust and others who assist us in attending to thousands of injured animals.
Our adoption coordinators work tirelessly to find loving, permanent homes for our indies, ensuring they lead safe and healthy lives. Every SAW volunteer is also a feeder, contributing significantly to our animal welfare mission. Guided by the belief that animals deserve love, compassion, and respect, we are committed to providing special care and attention to stray dogs/cats and abandoned pets.
SAW NGO, with the support of animal birth control organizations like Canine Control and Care, Animal Rescue Trust, and Blue Cross Society of Pune, has successfully sterilized over 14,000 stray dogs and hundreds of stray cats. This initiative is part of SAW’s commitment to humane stray population management, improving animal welfare, and fostering safer communities. Through collaborative efforts, SAW is making significant strides in controlling the stray population across Pune and PCMC areas.
We are able to save almost 60% of the stray animals we rescue. Most sadly are reported late.
Our volunteers are trained in emergency rescue and medical aid for small and large animals.
Support our fundraisers to help provide urgent medical care for sick and injured stray dogs and cats. Your contribution ensures they receive the treatment they desperately need, giving them a chance to heal and find loving homes. Every donation makes a life-saving difference. Join us in this vital mission. Make a small donation now on this form.
SAW started as a volunteer lead NGO and we are proud to have the largest volunteer network in Pune city and PCMC. Here’s what some of our dedicated volunteers have to say about our work!
